OFFER YOUR MILAGROS

As we close our Holy Thursday retreat,
ask yourself:
What would I like to pray for
in a special way

here and now?

There is a tradition in some countries
like Mexico and other Latin American countries,
as well as parts of the Iberian peninsula,
where the faithful offer votive offerings
called milagros.

Milagros come in different shapes
and dimensions
to symbolize a person’s prayer petition.
These votive offerings are left at altars
and shrines
as a symbol of their entrusting their petitions
to God and his saints.

If you have a special prayer intention,
Pick one from our available virtual milagros,
to be pinned on our online Prayer Shrine.

Find the milagro
that corresponds to your prayer petition.

Mention specific needs and names of the sick who need our prayers.
Share the intentions of families and loved ones and entrust them to our prayers.
Post petitions for issues or problems that you may be facing in your relationships.
Share whatever other petitions you may want to ask others to include in their prayer.
Express your hopes and dreams for our country, its leaders, and our people.
Ask others to pray for the world in general, its protection from the pandemic, and other global petitions close to your heart.

When you are ready, go to our Prayer Shrine
and write your prayer intention
under the appropriate milagro.

Posting can be done anonymously
and as often as desired.

Go to the PRAYER SHRINE.

Make sure you keep this window open
so you can come back here
to proceed to the next section.
