Thank you for walking with us,
praying with us–

I hope you learned something valuable
and received that one blessing from God

as you undergo this season in your life.

It’s going to be one strange Christmas this year,
but let’s decide to have
a merry and blessed one nevertheless!

From the bottom of my heart BIG BIG Thanks Fr. Johnny G and to all those who worked with you to put up this online retreat! I was not only energinzed spiritually but emotionally and physically as well! I could not stop laughing and enjoying the song of Rick Astley! Thank you and more power!!!

Heaps of thanks Fr. Johnny, to your Pins of Light team & to all those who helped you in this Work From Hope Advent Recollection. My ex-boyfriend & I just finished dancing with Anton & friends.:) God really has a wonderful way of cheering us up! Fyi it will be our silver wedding anniversary soon & Rick Astley’s concert at Araneta Coliseum happened to be our first date! We made a lot of plans for our wedding anniversary celebration but the pandemic & the lockdown made it all impossible. In the midst of this tribulation though there’s still so much to be thankful for & this recollection affirmed it more. Salamat muli for being God’s instrument of hope!

What a recollection! Definitely sharing this! Thank you thank you thank you. I ended up watching your Anton on One interview again, and somehow, the conversation made even more sense with the recollection as a prior activity. Galing!

Merry Christmas Fr. Johnny and to everyone in this community.

Thank you so much! I’ve learned a different take on Lot’s wife and God’s Incarnation. This recollection is refreshing! Thanks alot!

thank you once again Father for this advent recollection. You always manage to choose an insignificant person to point out a very significant message?? A blessed christmas and a hope filled new year

You are a blessing, Fr. Johnny! Thank you for yet another deeply moving recollection. I have been joining your Advent, Lent, Paschal Triduum online recollections for years now, and they have always been spaces for me to meet the Lord.
The ending of this Advent retreat was immensely enjoyable that i cried laughing! You have Rick-rolled us!!! Our God in His Divine Humor has Rick-rolled us!!! (Rick-rolling, or randomly blasting the song Never Gonna Give You Up, is a forever running joke in our home, an endless source of belly laughs).
God bless you and your team who make Pins of Light possible.

Immensely enjoyed this Advent recollection. It is a bringer of good and happy vibes which are much needed nowadays

Thank you Fr. Johnny! πŸ™‚ Never gonna give you up too, pinsoflight ❀
This made me cry – Your heart’s been aching, but you’re too shy to say it.

Best body prayer ever. Hehe. Papawisan ka talaga pag nagmahalan kayo ng Diyos. Salamat Father, Anton, Galvin, at sa lahat ng iba pang tumulong.

Thank you Fr Johnny for this recollection and for ending it with a Dance of Joy and Hope!! Ironically, it was while watching the dance that I cried – and realized despite a challenging year, not just for myself but more so for so many affected – with God, we can still and should still really Dance for Joy and Hope!

As always, thank you Fr. J for this wonderful recollection. Stay safe and Merry Christmas! May this season bring you joy, love, and hope!?

As always many thanks to everyone who worked hard from Hope to make this possible ‼️ A Blessed & Meaningful Christmas ?

Thank you Fr. Johnny this made my day?. Sharing this prayer by St. Teresa of Avila :
β€œLet nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you, all things are passing away; God never changes. Patience obtains all things. Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices.”
